GIZ Vacancy Fresh Graduates – Internship

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is a German implementing organization that provides services worldwide in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development. We work to shape a future worth living in over 120 countries around the world.

The finance department of GIZ Country office Addis Ababa ensures that all financial transactions are executed and reported timely, correctly, and according to GIZ’s rules and regulations. It is also responsible for insuring smooth fund flow from the GIZ country office to programs and projects.

Position: Finance Intern

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree (completed) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Basic understanding of accounting principles.

· Knowledge of VAT and Withholding Tax regulations is an advantage.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

· Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA) is an added advantage.

Professional experience

· Fresh graduate, no occupational experience.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality.
