Required Skills and Competencies
Interest in or basic understanding of medical insurance operations, claims management, medical coding, or healthcare administration is an advantage. Strong clinical assessment, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate medical records. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Fluency in both Amharic and English.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will combine clinical responsibilities with medical insurance administration. Key duties include:
Providing quality primary healthcare services. Supporting medical insurance claims review and processing. Assisting with pre-authorization procedures. Preparing and reviewing medical documentation. Coordinating with insurance providers and healthcare institutions.
