Role description
Flipper International School invites fresh and qualified applicants for the following job positions.
Flipper International School was founded in 1998 by Mrs Serkaddis Seifu and Mrs Menna Selamu. Seeing the lack of a comprehensive nursery in the city, the school was initially established to provide a loving and stimulating place for preschoolers to embark on their educational journey.
Over the years, our school has gained a remarkable reputation and has since become one of the most sought-after preschools and primary schools in Addis Ababa.
Position: High-school Teachers(Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, English, Business and Economics, Civics)
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject area from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience, preferably in a Cambridge or other international curriculum.
- Strong knowledge of the Cambridge Curriculum and assessment practices.
- Excellent classroom management and instructional skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use educational technology effectively.
- Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to continuous professional development.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Strong knowledge of the Cambridge Curriculum and assessment practices.
- Experience preparing students for Cambridge IGCSE and/or AS & A Level examinations is an advantage.
- Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching and learning.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- PGDT or an equivalent teaching qualification is preferred.
- Cambridge teaching certification or professional development training is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, teamwork, and commitment to safeguarding and continuous professional development.
