We are seeking a highly qualified and results-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the resort’s financial operations and ensure sound financial management in line with company policies and strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, and manage all financial and accounting activities of the resort. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections. Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards. Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability, and provide financial analysis to management. Maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable tax regulations. Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions. Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes. Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, banks, and other regulatory bodies. Ensure timely preparation and submission of statutory reports and tax filings. Monitor inventory and asset management to safeguard company resources. Support management with financial planning, business analysis, and strategic decision-making. Lead, coach, and develop the finance team to achieve departmental objectives About You Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification in IFRS or an equivalent qualification is an added advantage. Experience Minimum of five (5) years of relevant finance and accounting experience, with at least two (2) years in a managerial or supervisory role. Previous experience in the hospitality, hotel, resort, or service industry is highly desirable. Required Competencies Strong knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and financial reporting. Excellent understanding of Ethiopian tax laws and financial regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, and accounting software. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
