Ethiopost is Ethiopia’s principal postal service provider, with over 600 branches across the country. Ethiopost’s new vision is to be a global leader in postal services and a preferred partner in logistics, financial and government services.

Ethiopost is a state-owned enterprise (SOE) tasked with the establishment and expansion of postal services in the country. It is the designated postal operator (DPO) that provides postal services throughout the Ethiopian territory in order to fulfill the government’s universal service obligation (USO).

Position 1: Programmer

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in API design and systems integration.
• Strong proficiency in modern development stacks (e.g., Java/Spring, .NET, Node.js, Python) and API standards (RESTful, SOAP, GraphQL).
• Experience with message queues, microservices, containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of banking protocols (ISO 8583, ISO 20022), payment gateways, and security standards (OAuth2.0, TLS, PKI).

Position 2: DFS Partnership Supervisor

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field;
• 3+ years in partnership or business development; strong negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
• Tested experience in business development and partnership management focusing on Banking, Insurance, FinTech, Insurtech, and Other related businesses where high-level engagement and business closing is a requisite.

Position 3: DFS Product Portfolio Supervisor

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree  in business;
• 3+ years in product development or management; knowledge of digital financial services and finance sector.
