Role description
The Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics is a merger of four enterprises which were working independently in the sea transport sector. These were Ethiopian Shipping Lines Share Company, Ethiopian Maritime and Transit Service Enterprise, Dry Port Enterprise; and the former Comet Transport Share Company which was consolidated in to the new company, August, 2016.
Among the major companies that has helped coming in to being of the new merger is the former Ethiopian Shipping Lines Share Company (ESL), established March 1, 1956 E.C with a capital of 50,000 (fifty thousand) Ethiopian birr.
Position 1: 2nd Cook
Qualifications:
Educational qualification: Level IV/III/II and COC in Food Preparation and Beverage Service, Food Production Supervision.
Work Experience: Level IV 1 yrs. as Cook, Level III & II 2 yrs. as Cook.
Salary: as per the enterprise scale and fringe benefits.

Position 2: Mess Man
Qualifications:
Education Level:10+2 TVT Food beverage service certificate/Equivalent
Work Experience: 1yr (waiter experience before employment)
Certificate Required: III/4 Watch keeping Certificate(Engine Rating)
Training: PSSR,BFF,MFA,PST
Salary: as per the enterprise scale and fringe benefits.

Position 3: Laundry Man
Education Level: 10th Grade Certificate or Equivalent
Certificate Required: III/4 Watch keeping Certificate (Engine Rating)
Training Required: PSSR,BFF,MFA,PST
Work Experience: 2yrs in related field.
