The Ethiopian Center for Disability and Development (ECDD) is a non-governmental, non-partisan, and non-profit organization. ECDD committed to promoting the rights and opportunities of persons with disabilities through policy advocacy and the mainstreaming of disability inclusion in service delivery, development programs, and humanitarian actions, in partnership with other organizations.

Position 1: Graphic Designer (Volunteer/Intern)

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or final-year study in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Architecture, or a related field.
• Additional training or certification in branding, digital media, multimedia production, or visual communication is an advantage.

Professional Experience

• Recent graduates or candidates with up to two (2) years of professional experience in graphic design, branding, or visual communication.
• Demonstrated experience designing communication materials for both print and digital platforms.
• Experience developing reports, brochures, infographics, presentations, social media graphics, branding materials, or other visual communication products through academic, freelance, internship, volunteer, or professional work is desirable.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in two or more of the following:

• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe InDesign
• Canva

Knowledge of layout design, typography, branding, print production, and digital publishing is highly desirable.

Position 2: Audio Visual Expert (Volunteer/Intern)

Education

• Diploma or Certificate or final-year study in Audio Visual Production, Film and Media Studies, Multimedia Production, Communication, or a related field.
• Additional training in photography, videography, animation, cinematography, or multimedia production is an advantage.

Professional Experience

• Recent graduates or candidates with up to two (2) years of relevant professional experience in audio visual production or multimedia communication.
• Demonstrated experience in photography, videography, video editing, documentary production, and digital storytelling.
• Experience producing multimedia content for websites and social media platforms through academic projects, freelance assignments, internships, volunteer work, or professional experience is desirable.

Technical Skills

Experience with one or more of the following:

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Adobe After Effects
• Other professional video editing software

Knowledge of photography, sound recording, motion graphics, and visual storytelling is desirable.
