Elegance General Trading PLC, which is also associated with ELEGAS Ethiopia Trading PLC, is an Ethiopian enterprise engaged in various sectors. It serves as a significant partner for Yango Ethiopia (ride-hailing, providing customer support and operations), specializes in the export of premium Ethiopian coffee (Elegance Coffee), and provides services in event planning, wedding décor, and the supply of imported event furniture.

Position: Electric Vehicle (EV) Technician

EDUCATION: Degree or Advanced Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.

Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience in automotive repair, with direct experience handling EV/Hybrid high-voltage systems highly preferred.

Skills: Strong proficiency in reading electrical wiring diagrams, using multi-meters, and navigating digital vehicle diagnostic software.

Attributes: Fast learner, detail-oriented, and deeply committed to workshop safety protocols.

📋 Key JOB DESCRIPTIONS

* EV Car installation ( both Slow and Fast Charging )
* Knowledge of Diagnostic SCANNER.
* With Ability to Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults in Electric Vehicles (EVs) and smart mobility units.
* Ability to Inspect, test, service, and balance high-voltage battery packs and battery management systems (BMS).
* Ability do software updates using diagnostic scanner for system calibrations, firmware upgrades, and electronic module configurations.
