Regional Manager (CCR HQ, Prague
Country Programme Coordinator (CCR HQ, Prague)
Programme Quality Advisor (Prague based with regular field missions).
- Coordinating the day-to-day implementation of project activities across all outputs, ensuring quality delivery in line with the work plan, budget and logical framework.
- Serves as the coordinator and primary contact point of Czech consortium partners during project implementation in Ethiopia
- Represents CCR within Caritas Ethiopia and with external stakeholders, as needed
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with in-country stakeholders and partners, including government counterparts
- Representing CCR and the consortium in relevant governance, coordination and stakeholder meetings in Ethiopia, and organizing project governance meetings (such as the Project Steering Committee) as needed.
- Monitoring budget utilization in-country and flagging financial or operational risks to CCR HQ in a timely manner.
- In coordination with Country Programme Cooridnator drafting reporting and maintaining regular communication and information flow with CCR headquarters on implementation progress, risks and emerging issues.
- Acting as the first point of contact in-country for project-related matters, safeguarding matters, including protection from sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA), child protection and duty of care, and ensuring safeguarding standards are upheld by the project team and partners.
- Supporting project sustainability planning, including formalizing partnership agreements and helping embed project results into partners' own institutional structures beyond the life of the project.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Regional Manager (from Caritas Czech Republic HQ), in line with country strategy
- University degree in agriculture, rural development, international development, project management or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' professional experience managing development or humanitarian projects, ideally in an INGO or similar organization.
- At least 2 years of experience in consortium, partnership or multi-stakeholder project management.
- Familiarity with the Ethiopian institutional and operational context is required
- Excellent written and spoken English and Amharic, working knowledge of Oromoo (Oromiffa) is an advantage
- Demonstrated experience in budget monitoring and financial oversight of donor-funded projects.
- Experience with donor reporting, MEAL systems and grant management; familiarity with Czech ODA / CzDA procedures is an advantage.
- Experience in the agricultural, mechanization or TVET sector is an asset.
- Strong coordination and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively across cultures, institutions and consortium partners.
- Excellent representation, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong financial management and budget-monitoring skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands and make sound decisions under pressure, including in remotely supervised roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in standard MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Willingness to be based full-time in Addis Ababa and to travel regularly to project sites in the Akaki-Kality area and beyond, with occasional domestic travel.
- Commitment to CCR's Code of Conduct and safeguarding policies, including PSEA and child protection standards.
