Position: Program Support Specialist III
Position Overview
The Program Support Specialist III consults on, develops, and supports the implementation of holistic child development programs and interventions . At this career level, the specialist contributes to local program design, works independently, and participates in major or complex initiatives. The role may also involve coaching and overseeing the work of other specialists.
Key Responsibilities
Advocate for child protection and prioritize safeguarding in all activities. Champion holistic child development strategies and provide subject matter expertise. Collaborate with cross‑functional staff and managers to build capacity and share knowledge. Assess program needs, consolidate data, and develop strategies for effective implementation. Provide expertise in program design aligned with global objectives. Support Frontline Church Partners (FCPs) with training, resources, and curriculum contextualization. Develop proposals, coordinate resource deployment, and administer special initiatives. Review data, analyze reports, and provide consulting to improve child outcomes. Coach and mentor other program support staff.
Education & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Experience: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in program support or related fields. Preferred: Experience in Public Health. Licenses/Certifications: Certification from a nationally or internationally recognized organization in a related field. Equivalent education, training, or certification may substitute for experience requirements.
Working Environment
Standard office environment. Physical demands: Sitting, standing, and/or walking up to 8 hours per day. Travel: Up to 35% of normal schedule.
