VITA/RTI Ethiopia is inviting qualified and experienced professionals to apply for multiple positions under the Participatory Agriculture and Climate Transformation (PACT) Programme. The project aims to improve livelihoods by promoting clean cooking technologies, community forestry, and sustainable environmental management across several regions of Ethiopia.

Position 1: CLTS: Stove Team Leader

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in:
  • Development Studies
  • Sociology
  • Environmental Science
  • Social Work
  • Community/Rural Development
  • Agriculture
  • Related fields

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in:
  • Community-led development programs
  • Alternative energy initiatives
  • Community forestry projects
• Experience leading field teams and coordinating with government and community structures
• Good understanding of Community-Led Total Sanitation (CLTS), participatory approaches, and behavior change communication

Required Skills:

• Community mobilization and facilitation
• Leadership and team management
• Data collection, reporting, and analysis
• Strong coordination and networking skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Knowledge of local languages in the project areas is an advantage

Position 2: MRV Officer – PACT Project

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in:
  • Project Management
  • Statistics
  • Information Technology (IT/ICT)
  • Related fields

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in:
  • Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV)
  • Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL)
  • Related functions, preferably in NGOs

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of Gold Standard MRV methodologies
• Experience with cookstove and forestry surveys
• Proficiency in:
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Access
  • KoBo Collect
  • ArcGIS/QGIS
• Experience working at woreda and kebele levels
• Strong analytical, reporting, facilitation, and communication skills

Position 3: PACT Cashier & Office Assistant

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in:
  • Accounting and Finance
  • Finance
  • Accounting
  • Commerce
  • Business Administration
  • Related fields

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in:
  • Cashier duties
  • Office administration
  • Storekeeping
• NGO experience is highly preferred
• Experience with donor-funded projects is an advantage

Required Skills:

• Financial management and accounting
• Cash handling and office administration
• Knowledge of procurement and documentation procedures
• Experience with accounting software such as:
  • AIQ
  • QuickBooks
  • Peachtree Accounting
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• High integrity and attention to detail
