Current operations span Addis Ababa, Dire Dawa, Amhara (South Wollo), Hareri, and Oromia Region .
Project: ROOTS OF THE FUTURE
Implemented in Addis Ababa, Dire Dawa, and Dessie , this project is financed by the Italian Ministry of Interior . Its objective is to improve access to and quality of basic services, focusing on migrant and vulnerable youth, ensuring protection and community integration.
Position: Finance Officer
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily financial and accounting operations using NP Square software Oversee payroll, statutory deductions, tax compliance, and staff advances Support procurement processes (PRs, POs, payment requests) Facilitate payments for per diems, transport, workshops, and training activities Prepare cash flow forecasts, manage petty cash, and maintain banking relations Produce accurate monthly financial reports and reconciliations Compile documentation for annual audits and donor compliance Organize and archive financial records (physical and electronic) Ensure strict adherence to CIFA and donor financial guidelines
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum 4 years’ professional experience in finance/accounting At least 4 years with INGOs or humanitarian organizations Proficiency in accounting software (Peachtree/Sage 50, NP Square) Advanced MS Excel and MS Word skills Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities High integrity, confidentiality, and ability to work under pressure Excellent communication skills in English and Amharic
