Position: Civil / Structural Design Engineer

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in structural engineering/design.
  • Practical experience in both steel and reinforced concrete structural design/modeling.
  • Strong experience in preparing structural detailing and construction drawings.
  • Proficiency in Auto CAD and relevant structural design/modeling software.
  • Ability to interpret structural calculations and develop accurate construction drawings.
  • Architectural design/drafting experience or exposure is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and multidisciplinary coordination skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for structural modelling, design development, and preparation of construction/detailing drawings for steel and reinforced concrete (RC) structures, particularly within industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and review structural analysis and design models for steel and reinforced concrete structures.
  • Prepare structural construction and detailing drawings based on approved design calculations and models.
  • Work on industrial structures including steel frames, RC structures, equipment foundations, pipe racks, equipment supports, and industrial buildings.
  • Coordinate structural designs and drawings with architectural, piping, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Revise drawings and models based on project requirements and technical reviews.
  • Ensure structural documentation complies with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
  • Participate in technical coordination and design review meetings.
