JOB DESCRIPTION
The Chief Strategy Research Officer (CSRO) leads the Bank’s strategy research functions, overseeing the production of high-quality market analysis, investment insights, and strategic recommendations. The role supports informed decision-making, aligns research activities with the Bank’s strategic objectives, and delivers value to both internal stakeholders and clients.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Leadership
– Develop and implement the Bank’s research strategy and lead the research team.
Market Analysis
– Oversee market, economic, and sector analysis and provide investment insights.
Research Management
– Ensure the quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of research reports and recommendations.
Client Engagement
– Present research findings and maintain relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
Investment Advisory
– Provide actionable investment recommendations and support investment decision-making.
Team Leadership
– Recruit, mentor, and evaluate research staff to promote high performance.
Quality Assurance
– Maintain research standards and implement best practices in analysis and reporting.
Regulatory Compliance
– Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
Stakeholder Collaboration
– Work closely with investment, portfolio management, and sales teams to align research with business needs.
Continuous Improvement
– Drive innovation, process enhancements, and adoption of advanced research methodologies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
Education & Experience
Master's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in research, investment analysis, or related roles within the financial services industry.
Proven track record of leadership in a research or analytical capacity.
Skills
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying insights to diverse audiences.
Proficiency in research tools and software, as well as data analysis techniques.
Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and economic principles.
