The Consortium of Christian Relief and Development Associations (CCRDA) serves as the Secretariat of the National Humanitarian Forum (NHF) , a multi‑stakeholder platform that strengthens humanitarian coordination, localization, advocacy, and capacity building in Ethiopia.
Position: Project Coordinator
Purpose
The Project Coordinator will support the NHF Secretariat in coordinating and implementing projects, strengthening operational capacity, and ensuring effective delivery of strategic priorities. The role involves coordination, localization, advocacy, partnership development, knowledge management, and resource mobilization.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of NHF projects. Support day‑to‑day functioning of the NHF Secretariat, including meetings and documentation. Facilitate humanitarian coordination, localization, and policy dialogues. Strengthen partnerships with Forum members, government, UN agencies, NGOs, and donors. Manage information systems, knowledge products, and digital platforms. Monitor project progress, prepare donor reports, and document lessons learned. Contribute to fundraising and donor engagement.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Humanitarian Affairs, Development Studies, Disaster Risk Management, Public Administration, International Relations, Social Sciences, or related fields. Experience: Minimum 5 years in humanitarian coordination, programming, civil society development, localization, or project management. Experience with NGOs, UN agencies, or government institutions is highly desirable. Competencies: Strong project management, humanitarian knowledge, partnership skills, analytical and reporting ability, M&E experience, facilitation skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
