About the Role
AeTrade Group is implementing the Integrated MSME Handholding and Business Growth Project to empower SMEs, youth-led enterprises, women-led businesses, cooperatives, and producers. The Business Development Unit ensures effective MSME onboarding, vendor acquisition, market activation, digital financial inclusion, and job creation through Sokokuu Africa, AeTrust, AeLearning, AeLogistics, AeBusMedia, and Digital Trade Advisors.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate business development activities and supervise sales/marketing teams.
Train and support handholding teams working directly with MSMEs and vendors.
Conduct field visits, monitor activities, and provide solutions to challenges.
Support MSMEs in digital registration, product listing, payments, and market linkage.
Assist in marketing campaigns, field activations, and awareness events.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), 5–7 years’ experience in business development/sales/field operations, 2–3 years supervisory experience, fluency in Amharic.
