Best Western Plus Pearl Addis is seeking new and qualified candidates for the following job opening.

Best Western Hotel Resorts, based in Phoenix, Arizona, is a privately owned hotel brand that boasts a worldwide network of over 4,200 hotels across nearly 100 countries and territories. Among the 16 brands under Best Western Hotels & Resorts, we have collaborated with Best Western Plus. The Best Western Plus Pearl Addis hotel is ideally situated just 2 kilometers from Bole International Airport and within a short walking distance of Bole Medhanialem Cathedral.

Position: IT Officer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven one-year experience in IT support within the hospitality industry or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of network administration, cybersecurity, and hotel management systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support all hotel IT systems, including property management systems (PMS), point of sale (POS), Micro, MC, Opera and communication networks.
• Manage network infrastructure, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
• Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect hotel data and systems.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware/software procurement and maintenance.
• Provide training and support to hotel staff on IT systems and tools.
• Maintain documentation of IT assets, configurations, and procedures.
