Open Job Positions & Detailed Requirements
1. Manager, Risk & Quality Assurance
- Location: Head Office
- Career Level: Managerial Level
- Purpose: Function as the independent final gatekeeper of the Bank’s digital banking ecosystem, providing impartial governance over testing, security hardening, regulatory compliance, and fraud intelligence.
Key Requirements:
- Education: MSc/BSc/MA/MBA/BA in Information Security, Computer Science, Risk Management, Finance, Banking, or Cybersecurity.
- Experience: 7 to 9 years of relevant Banking experience in risk, IT audit, or information security (at least 3 years as a Senior Officer or equivalent in QA/Project Management).
- Certifications: PMP, CISA, CRISC, PCI-DSS QSA/ISA (advantageous).
2. Manager, Digital Channels & Support
- Location: Head Office
- Career Level: Managerial Level
- Purpose: Maximize channel uptime, technical reliability, and customer-facing service availability across the Bank’s ATM estate, POS/QR networks, mobile banking, USSD, and corporate internet banking.
Key Requirements:
- Education: MSc/BSc in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Telecommunications.
- Experience: 7 to 9 years of relevant Banking technology operations (at least 2 years as Senior or equivalent in managing ATM networks, POS fleets, or digital banking support).
- Certifications: ITIL v4 Foundation, CompTIA Network+, ATM/POS Vendor Certifications (NCR, Diebold).
3. HR Business Partner
- Location: Adama District, Addis Ababa
- Career Level: Mid Level (2 – 5 years experience)
- Purpose: Support the implementation of the Bank’s people strategy at branch and district levels by providing operational HR support, employee relations advice, and ensuring consistent policy application.
Key Requirements:
- Education: BA in HRM, Business Management, Management, Public Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Banking industry (at least 1 year in an officer position).
4. Manager, Digital Financing Services
- Location: Head Office
- Career Level: Managerial Level
- Purpose: Own the complete conceptualization, algorithm design, risk modeling, and operational lifecycle of the Bank’s automated digital lending, micro-credit, and alternative credit scoring mechanisms.
Key Requirements:
- Education: MA/MBA/MSc/BA/BSc in Finance, Economics, Marketing, Computer Science, Statistics, or Banking.
- Experience: 7 to 9 years of relevant Banking experience (at least 2 years as Senior Officer in digital lending, credit scoring, and STP lending workflows).
5. Manager, Third Party System Integration & API Management
- Location: Head Office
- Career Level: Managerial Level
- Purpose: Build and govern the Bank’s Open Banking ecosystem by managing all fintech partnerships, API infrastructure, and middleware integrations securely and at scale.
Key Requirements:
- Education: MBA/MA/MSc/BA/BSc in Business, Computer Science, IT, or Engineering.
- Experience: 7 to 9 years in Banking, fintech partnerships, or API product management (at least 3 years managing third-party integrations and digital ecosystems).
6. Legal Aid
- Location: Addis Ababa
- Career Level: Junior Level (1 – 2 years experience)
- Purpose: Facilitate court-related and foreclosure issues for the Bank through opening court files, managing schedules, serving notices, and keeping accurate legal records.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Diploma or Diploma Equivalent in Law or business-related fields.
- Experience: 2 years of relevant experience.
7. IT Auditor
- Location: Head Office
- Career Level: Mid Level (2 – 5 years experience)
- Purpose: Ensure IT operations (People-Process-Technology) align with the Bank’s strategic objectives and regulatory laws through independent and objective verification and risk-based audits.
Key Requirements:
- Education: BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Experience: 3 years of relevant Banking experience (at least 1 year in an officer position).
8. Branch Manager Grade – I
- Location: Azena, Arerti, Adama Chefe, Dilla, Hassena Ager, Jawi, Gashena, Majete, Merawi, Wegdi
- Career Level: Managerial Level
- Purpose: Achieve sustainable growth and profitability by cross-selling products, acquiring customers, and managing overall retail banking operations at the assigned branch.
Key Requirements:
- Education: BA in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or Management.
- Experience: 7 years of relevant experience in the Banking Industry (including 1 year as Assistant Branch Manager/CSM/Relationship Manager, OR 7 years banking experience with 2 years as a Senior Officer in operations).
