Role description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant with at least one year of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles, good numerical skills, and basic IT competence.

Position: Accountant/Office Assistance

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Basic IT skills, including:
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, and other office tools
  • Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledgers
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
  • Assist in budgeting, financial forecasting, and reporting
  • Ensure accuracy of financial documents and compliance with regulations
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records
  • Use accounting software and basic computer applications (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Assist in audits and tax preparation as required
