Abay Bank S.C. invites competent and qualified candidates for the following positions. Abay Bank has fulfilled all the necessary requirements of the National Bank of Ethiopia to set up a bank, and officially established on July 14th 2010 and started full-fledged banking operations on November 3, 2010.

The Bank is poised to serve all economic sectors through its network of branches. It extends its services to domestic trade and services, international trade, agriculture, industry, transportation, construction and real estate sectors.

Position 1: Management Assistant

Required Education: BA Degree in Secretarial Science and Office Management/ Administrative Service Management

Experience: a minimum of 3 years of related work experience.

Salary: As per the Bank’s Scale.

Place of work: Head Office

Position 2: Collateral Valuator and Engineer – Civil

Required Education: BSc. degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Technology or any relevant field of study

Experience: a minimum of 3 years’ experience in designing, estimation and valuation.

Salary: As per the Bank’s Scale.

Place of work: Adama and Debre birhan District Office

Position 3: Customer Service Supervisor – Grade – 1

Required Education: BA Degree in Economics, Accounting, Management, Business Administration, Accounting and Finance or business related field of study

Experience: a minimum of 3(three) years of experience in banking operations.

Salary: As per the Bank’s Scale.

Place of work: Assasa Branch

Position 4: Senior MIS Officer

Required Education : B.Sc. Degree in Information Science/Management Information Systems/Computer Science/Information Systems in business related studies is an added advantage

Experience: 4 years of relevant work experience.

Salary: As per the Bank’s Scale.

Place of work: Head Office

Position 5: Branch Manager – Grade – 1

Required Education: BA Degree in Management, Economics, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Administration or other business related field of study

Experience: 6 years’ work experience in banking operations, out of which 2 years in supervisory position.

Salary: As per the Bank’s Scale.
