Position: Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer
Key Responsibilities
M&E System Development: Design and refine frameworks, logical models, and results‑based monitoring systems. Data Management & Reporting: Collect, validate, and analyze program data; produce dashboards, reports, and success stories. Monitoring Activities: Conduct field visits, Data Quality Assessments (DQA), and project evaluations. Capacity Building: Train staff and partners on M&E tools and practices. Coordination: Represent 3iS in M&E working groups and forums.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Project Management, Public Administration, or related fields. Master’s degree is an asset. Languages: Fluency in English and Amharic (written & spoken). Experience: 4–5 years in monitoring & evaluation, preferably in humanitarian/development sectors. Technical Skills: Data analysis software (SPSS, STATA, R). Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau). Mobile data collection platforms (KoboToolbox, ODK). Microsoft Office Suite. Competencies: Analytical skills, report writing, communication, teamwork, organizational ability, and confidentiality. Other: Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
