Position: Section Head, In House Security

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Security, Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or related fields.

  • At least 5 years relevant experience with 2 years’ experience as Senior Officer or 2 years as Principal officer in a Supervisory role.
  • The incumbent is responsible for coordinating the activities of in house security division enabling the bank have secured and safe business operations and realize its strategic goals and Objectives.

Major Responsibilities;

  • Follow-up security shift program implementation assigns employees for regular head office and branch services and for field and city escort services.
  • Monitor the daily security status report; review security employee performance and take necessary amendments.
  • Liaise and represent the Bank with the government security organ and follow-up requests submitted for firearms.
  • Ensure firearms and related equipment are properly recorded, tagged, and assigned to all concerned staff; conduct periodic follow- up on them and ensure their functionality.
  • Supervise the security agency/is hired by the Bank and ensures whether they are performing obligations based on the security outsourcing agreements.
  • Follow-up records for firearms and related equipment and conducts periodic follow- up on them and ensures their functionality.
  • Prepare periodic reports about firearms and send them to the concerned government organ.
  • Follow-up the proper functioning of the IP-Camera and other security equipment and analyze data extracted from the system and compile reports.
  • Follow-up whether parking areas in the premises of the head quarter and branches are properly used for the intended purpose.
  • Coordinate shift supervisors to strictly follow-up and check whether the security personnel appear in a well-equipped, neat and with proper attire per the Bank’s dress code; and ensures proper customer service without a compromise on the security function.
  • Handle security related records and related data such as periodic security updates and statistics.
