Role description

The World Bank Ethiopia Country Office is hiring Ethiopia. The positions are based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and open to Ethiopian nationals.

Position: Team Assistant

Qualification and Requirements

Education: High school diploma with at least 2 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in standard and advanced office applications, databases, collaboration tools, and office equipment.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Sound knowledge of office administration, document management, and electronic and physical records systems.

Language: Proficiency in written and spoken English, including drafting correspondence and editing documents for grammar, punctuation, clarity, and style.

Other Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Initiative, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Adaptability, willingness to learn, and readiness to seek guidance when necessary.
  • Ability to meet applicable World Bank Group testing requirements.
