Role description
VisionFund Micro Finance Institution (S.C) is an Institution established according to proclamation No. 40/96 to provide financial services to the productive poor in the rural and urban areas of Ethiopia. VisionFund is currently operating in four of the Regional States of the country.
VisionFund MFI is currently looking for candidates for the following positions of the successful candidates will have skills and experience that meet the following requirements:
Position 1: KYC Officer
EDUCATION/TRAINING
- BA Degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics, Management, Accounting and Finance or equivalent or related.
EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
Terms of employment: Permanent
Salary: As per the Institutions salary scale
Place of Work: Head Office
Position 2: Senior, Resource Mobilization & Customer Service Office/Regional
Qualification, Skill and Experience:
- MA/MBA/BA in Management/Banking/Marketing/Economics or other related field
- At least 5/7 years relevant work experiences
- Excellent knowledge of saving principles and practices
- Excellent knowledge of VF MFI’s saving policies and strategies
- Good knowledge of data analysis techniques
- Ability to provide guidance and assistance
- Analytical skill
- Oral and written communication skill
- Strong interpersonal skill
- Be a good trainer, facilitator, mentor, and coach
- Very good communication (presentation) skills.

Place of Work: Central East Regional Operation Office
Position 3: Programmer
EDUCATION/TRAINING
BSC in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems or Information Technology and Software Engineering or related field.
EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS
A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
Proven experience as a programmer or software developer.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).
Experience with databases (e.g., SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Django, ASP.NET).
Knowledge of mobile app development (e.g., Android, iOS).

Position 4: Digital Business Operations Officer
EDUCATION/TRAINING
- B.Sc. Degree in Management, Accounting, Business Administration, Banking and Finance and related
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in relevant professional experience (private/public) sector and/or financial sector, and/or technology solutions for business and finance.
- Proven experience in the implementation of Digital Finance Operations

- Digital Banking and banking operations knowledge.
- Business development and sales orientation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Target and performance management.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong coordination and follow-up capability.
