Role description
Unity Microfinance Institution invites qualified, competent, and interested candidates to apply for the following vacant positions. The Institution is seeking motivated professionals who meet the stated qualifications and experience requirements. Successful candidates will be employed on a full-time basis in accordance with the Institution’s employment policies and procedures.
Position 1: CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Management, Accounting, Business Management, Economics, Marketing, or a finance-related field of study.
Minimum Relevant Work Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in microfinance, banking, financial services, or a customer-service-oriented organization.
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or team-lead position is preferred.

Position 2: CASHIER
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Management, Accounting, Business Management, Economics, Marketing, or a finance-related field of study
Minimum Relevant Work Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in microfinance, banking, financial services, or a related institution.
- At least 1 year of experience in cash handling, customer service, teller operations, or branch operations.

Position 3: CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPERVISOR
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Management, Accounting, Business Management, Economics, Marketing, or a finance-related field of study.
Minimum Relevant Work Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in microfinance, banking, financial services, or a related institution.
- At least 2 years of experience in customer service, cashier/teller operations, branch operations, or a related function.

Position 4: Senior Credit Officer
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Minimum Relevant Work Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in credit, portfolio management, banking, or microfinance, with at least 2 years in a credit officer , portfolio, or supervisory role.
Location: Addis Ababa
Position 5: Chief/Senior secretary
Minimum Qualification
- Diploma/TVET or degree in secretary Sciences, business administration or a related field.
Minimum Relevant Work Experience
- At least 3 years of relevant secretarial experience.

Position 6: BRANCH MANAGER
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Management, Accounting, Business Management, Economics, Marketing, or a finance-related field of study.
Minimum Relevant Work Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in microfinance, banking, financial services, or a related institution.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial position, preferably as a Branch Manager, Branch Supervisor, Senior Credit Officer, or equivalent.
