Self-Contained Teacher (Main Teacher)
Location: Birsste Gebriel (Sar Bet), Addis Ababa Employment Type: Full-time Career Level: Entry Level / Fresh Graduate Experience: 0–1 years Number of Positions: 1
Education and Experience
Minimum of a Diploma in any field of study from a recognized college or university. 0+ years of work experience ; fresh graduates are eligible to apply. Prior knowledge or experience with the Cambridge system is preferred.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Good command of English , both spoken and written, with a minimum B2 level . Good knowledge of computers and the use of AI tools. Knowledge of Arabic or other foreign languages is an advantage. Good communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate and work effectively with pupils and colleagues.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare Cambridge-system lessons based on the applicable scheme of work. Deliver lessons using creative and inspiring approaches. Use active-learning methods in the classroom. Provide extracurricular activities. Monitor pupils’ overall performance and track their progress. Identify pupils’ learning needs and address them appropriately. Perform other related duties reasonably assigned by the supervisor.
