Role description
SOS Children’s Villages Ethiopia is an International Non-governmental organization and a member of SOS Children’s Villages International Federation. We started our humanitarian work in Ethiopia with the opening of our first Village in Mekelle, Northern part of Ethiopia in 1974.
We are looking for Procurement Volunteer Under the overall supervision of the National Procurement, logistics, and liaison Manager who will work closely with our experienced procurement team, gaining exposure to functions such as Procurement, vendor management, supply chain procedures, contract negotiations, purchase orders, and delivery management.

Essential Requirements (Must-Have):
- Degree/Diploma in Logistics & supply chain management, or a related discipline.
- Recent graduate of year 2024 or 2025.
Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Sound understanding of procurement procedures.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, primarily Excel.
- Quick learner with a keen interest in procurement and supply chain.
