Job Responsibilities
The Junior Accountant will support the accounting and finance team with routine financial transactions, recordkeeping, account reconciliation, and reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
Process supplier invoices, match purchase orders, and prepare payments. Issue client invoices, track payments, and follow up on overdue accounts. Record daily financial transactions and post journal entries to the general ledger. Maintain organized financial records, including receipts, invoices, and supporting documents. Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile basic balance sheet accounts. Review credit card statements and petty cash expenses against receipts. Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities. Support documentation preparation for audits and tax-related tasks.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience
Entry-level position suitable for recent graduates. The listed experience range is 0–1 year.
Technical Skills
Basic to intermediate knowledge of accounting software. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, basic formulas, and formatting. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
