Role description
Shobole Engineering plc would like to recruit qualified candidates for the following positions.
Shobole Electromechanical is a renowned company specializing in various projects related to the supply, installation, maintenance, and operation of elevators and escalators, as well as other electromechanical works.
Position 1: Junior Electrical Engineer
Education: BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering from a public/government university.
Minimum CGPA: 3.6 or above.
Graduation Year: 2026.
Experience: Not Required.
Place of Work: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Position 2: Sales Executive (Field & Office Hybrid)
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience: 1–4 years of proven experience in outdoor/field sales, corporate sales (B2B), or industrial sales. Experience in the construction or engineering sectors in Ethiopia is highly preferred.
Skills: Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills in Amharic and English; technical aptitude; resilience; organizational and reporting skills.
Place of Work: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Position 3: Head of Commercial
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field. A relevant professional qualification or master’s degree is an added advantage.
Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience, including experience in a leadership role.
Skills: Sales and marketing strategy, tender management, procurement, bid documentation, pricing, contract negotiation, leadership, communication, analytical planning, and financial awareness. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; CRM and tender management systems experience is an advantage.
Job Responsibilities: Develop commercial strategies, lead sales and business development, oversee tendering and bid preparation, negotiate contracts, monitor market trends, manage budgets and performance targets, and develop the commercial team.
