Shining Stone International Business Plc is private business Company that is engaged in the Real Estate, Specialized Foundation, Road Marking Construction and Chemical Manufacturing. Shining Stone International Business plc is located in Ethiopia, we are the dry ginger, leather products supplier, mainly for the south America, mid east, western Europe markets.

Our company is currently seeking energetic self-motivated and able to work under stress qualified and competent applicant for the following position. 

Position: Cashier Accountant

Educational Qualification: – BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance and Other Related Field of study.

Work Experiences: – 3 years and above and from these at least 1 years in Similar positions. Construction work Experience is Advantageous.

Technical Competency

  • Knowledge and experience in generally accepted accounting practices and principles.

Main Responsibility & Duties

  • Agrees daily revenue collections at each Point with bank deposits and rectify discrepancies whenever they occur.
  • Ensure all collections are deposited to bank intact daily
  • Evaluates performance of cashiers and provide feedback
  • Ensures customer transactions are processed promptly and accurately.
  • Generates cash related documents and account reports.
  • Ensures each cashier has the necessary items to accomplish their tasks (cash register tape, credit cards etc.)
  • Performs bank deposits and withdrawals according to established policies.
  • Handles and keeps cash properly per company policy and procedures.
  • Effects cash payment against duly authorized document.
  • Pays out salaries against approved payroll.
  • Receives cash against cash receipt voucher.
  • Withdraws cash from Bank based on approval of authorized and signed checks.
  • Issues receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
  • Keeps safe all relevant vouchers, checks, payment approval, and other source documents.
  • Calculates total cash/money paid and reconcile with the initial amount he/she received.
