Job Purpose
The Senior Supply Chain Coordinator will oversee supply chain operations at the North Area Office, ensuring procurement, warehousing, fleet, administration, asset management, and related support functions operate efficiently and in accordance with Save the Children's global and national policies. The role also supports both development and emergency response programs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead supply chain operations across the North Area Office and project locations. Develop and implement supply chain plans aligned with operational priorities. Supervise procurement, warehouse, fleet, construction, and asset management activities. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor regulations, and supply chain procedures. Manage procurement planning, purchase order tracking, and framework agreements. Support budgeting, procurement planning, and project implementation. Oversee warehouse operations, inventory management, and fixed asset registration. Monitor fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, road safety, and driver management. Coordinate market assessments, supplier management, and tender processes. Prepare monthly supply chain reports covering procurement, fleet, warehouse, and asset performance. Build the capacity of supply chain staff through supervision, coaching, and performance management. Ensure effective use of organizational supply chain systems and applications.
Required Qualifications
MA or BA Degree in Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field. Professional diploma or certification in Supply Chain Management is an advantage. Minimum of 6 years of supply chain management experience, preferably within an NGO or humanitarian organization. Strong experience in procurement, fleet management, warehousing, inventory, and asset management. Experience managing teams and budgets. Strong analytical, planning, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Excellent written and spoken English. Ability to travel extensively within the North Area Office.
