Position: Sales Development Representative (Call Center Sales Agent)
Position Overview
Hirearky partners with U.S.‑based startups and growing companies to recruit top talent. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will focus on sales, lead generation, relationship building, and appointment setting — not recruiting candidates.
Your role will involve making outbound calls, sending emails, following up with prospects, and scheduling meetings with decision‑makers at U.S.‑based companies.
Key Responsibilities
Make high‑volume outbound calls to U.S. businesses. Prospect and identify potential clients. Send follow‑up emails and text messages. Introduce and pitch Hirearky’s recruiting services. Qualify leads and schedule meetings. Maintain accurate records in CRM systems. Follow sales processes and outreach strategies. Collaborate with company leadership to improve sales performance.
Education & Experience
Education: No specific degree required; strong communication skills essential. Experience: Previous sales, appointment setting, cold calling, call center, customer service, or business development experience preferred but not mandatory. Preferred: Experience working with U.S. clients and familiarity with CRM software.
Requirements
Excellent spoken and written English. Clear, professional communication skills. Comfortable speaking with U.S.‑based clients by phone. Confident making cold calls and handling objections. Ability to work New York (Eastern Time) business hours. Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and coachability. Reliable laptop and internet connection. Ability to work on‑site in Bole, Addis Ababa.
