Safaricom Ethiopia is looking for a qualified person who meets the criteria indicated below.

Position 1: Analyst – Quality Assurance

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in a Business/ Social Science discipline from a recognized university
• Proficiency in  Oromiffa language is mandatory 
• Experience working in a customer service environment within a service-oriented organization. Work in telecommunication, Banking or airline sector will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Quality Management or audit environment will be an advantage.
• Good understanding and fluency in English Amharic and any local languages Oromifa, Somali (both written and spoken)
• Excellent knowledge of telecommunications technology and products
• Knowledge of Call center technologies and operations desirable
• Has knowledge and understanding of key deliverables in the quality assurance process i.e. Quality evaluation, Creation of assessment forms, Appeals, Calibration etc. 
• Has first-hand knowledge and/or experience of customer feedback surveys e.g. NPS, CSAT…
• Must be analytical and have excellent written and verbal communication skills (articulate), coupled with good listening and critical reasoning skills and ability to provide constructive feedback. 
• Must possess excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. 
• Strong collaborator who enjoys working in cross-functional teams, with people from different backgrounds.
• Confident, energetic and able to work under pressure with a positive attitude, Creative, complex problem-solving.
• Self-motivated, requiring little supervision and able to meet strict deadlines
• Knowledge and experience in quality management system (QMS) needed
• Quality Assurance training/Certification would be an added advantage

Position 2: Analyst – Digital/Online Services

Job Requirements 

• An undergraduate degree preferably in Tech, Business, or social sciences
• 1+ year experience on digital transformation within a similar function/organization
• 1yearexperience working in a customer service environment within a service-oriented organization. Work in telecommunication, Banking or airline sector will be an added advantage;
• Wide appreciation of analytics in driving outcomes for both customers and the business.
• Excellent knowledge of Safaricom products and services

Position 3: Software Engineer – Fintech Integration

Must have technical / professional qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent 
•  At least 1 years’ experience in coding in a non-university setting. 
•  Experience in Java, spring boot, spring, spring MVC, JEE, MAVEN, spring cloud. Should be conversant in Java. Other programming languages such as C#, Golang will be an added advantage. 
• Proven experience with integration technologies such as APIs, web services, and message queues. 
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture – Ability to design, develop and implement scalable, elastic microservice based platforms. This will include when and where to use a particular architecture and pattern. 
• Working knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL..). 
•  Experience in analytical and problem-solving skills, developing solutions using agile, DevOps, testing and CI/CD automation tools such as Jenkins, JMeter, Git, Stash, SonarQube, GitOps etc will be an added advantage. 
•  Build microservices leveraging on cloud Services, Serverless architecture, designing and implementing with full stack solutions leveraging Node or Spring stack. 
• Be able to build cloud native and cloud ready solutions using java. 
• Strong understanding of Docker-based containers, Kubernetes, or other container schedulers. 
•  Understanding of both soap and rest apis and development on swagger UI 
•  Strong understanding of cloud technologies – AWS, Azure, GCP 
•  Experience with automated testing tools – SonarQube, JUnit
