Position: Graduate Data Engineer

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, or related fields.

Work Experience

  • 0 years of experience required.
  • Fresh graduates and entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply.
  • Academic projects, internships, bootcamps, certifications, and personal projects are advantages but not mandatory.

Required Skills

  • Basic knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and database queries.
  • Familiarity with Python or another programming language.
  • Understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data transformation.
  • Basic knowledge of data formats such as CSV and JSON.
  • Analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Additional Technical Skills (Advantages)

  • Familiarity with Apache Spark, Apache NiFi, or other data processing technologies.
  • Basic understanding of data warehouses, data lakes, and big data concepts.
  • Knowledge of Linux commands, Git, and version control.
  • Awareness of data validation, data visualization, and workflow automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining data pipelines and integration solutions.
  • Write SQL queries and Python scripts for data extraction, cleaning, and transformation.
  • Perform data quality checks and identify missing, duplicate, or inconsistent records.
  • Support database management, data processing, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Prepare technical documentation and collaborate with senior engineers and development teams.
  • Participate in technical training, code reviews, and continuous learning activities.
