Role description
Omo Bank invites interested and qualified applicants for the following job positions. Omo Microfinance is edging closer in its bid to transform into a bank. It is the third microfinance institution to make such a move, after Amhara and Oromia saving & credit institutions.
Omo was one of the five largest microfinance institutions in Ethiopia, along with Amhara, Oromia, Addis, and Dedebit. These institutions account for 82.6pc of the total capital, 90pc of the savings, and 85.9pc of the credit provided in the microfinance market.
OMO Bank Arba Minch District invites qualified and competent external applicants to apply for the following vacant positions.
Position 1: Senior Innovation & Product Development Officer
Education: MA/BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Business Leadership, Marketing Management, or related fields of study.
Experience: 4/5 years of related work experience in the banking industry.
Location: Head Office
Position 2: Senior Intelligence & Research Officer
Education: MA/BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Business Leadership, Marketing Management, or related fields of study.
Experience: 4/5 years of related work experience in the banking industry.
Location: Head Office
Position 3: Manager, Research, Innovation and Product Development Division
Education: MA/BA Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, HRM, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Business Leadership, Marketing Management, or related fields of study.
Experience: 7/8 years of related banking experience, of which 2 years must be in managerial/supervisory positions.
Location: Head Office
Position 4: District Manager III
Education: MA/BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Business Leadership, Marketing Management, or related fields of study.
Experience: 9/10 years of relevant work experience in financial institutions, of which 4 years must be in a supervisory position. Candidates should also be familiar with the working environment of the area.
