Work Location: MKDSS Smart Card Factory, Ethiopia
Position 1: Junior Utility Technician
Education
TVET Level V Diploma in Electricity or Industrial Electricity from a recognized institution.
Experience
No prior work experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with inspection, maintenance, and repair of utility equipment. Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Assist in troubleshooting utility system issues. Maintain maintenance records and equipment logs. Follow workplace safety procedures and company standards.
Required Competencies
Basic knowledge of electrical and utility systems. Willingness to learn in a manufacturing environment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Position 2: Utility Technician
Education
TVET Level V Diploma in Electricity or Industrial Electricity from a recognized institution.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on utility systems. Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair utility equipment. Operate water, compressed air, and air-conditioning systems. Maintain maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Required Competencies
Good knowledge of electrical and utility systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork. Commitment to workplace safety.
Position 3: Senior Utility & Auxiliary Engineer
Education
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
Experience
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience. At least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the operation and maintenance of utility and auxiliary systems. Coordinate preventive maintenance and infrastructure improvement activities. Monitor system performance and prepare technical reports. Provide technical guidance to maintenance teams. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
