About the Young Leaders Program (YLP)
The Young Leaders Program (YLP) is McKinsey’s flagship two‑year consulting fellowship designed to develop exceptional young Ethiopian talent into future leaders. Fellows work directly with clients, receive world‑class training, and gain exposure to diverse industries and problem‑solving environments.

Role Purpose
As a Fellow , you will collaborate with consultants and client teams to solve complex business challenges. You will gather and analyze data, test hypotheses, develop recommendations, and support implementation. Fellows receive structured training, mentorship, and continuous coaching to accelerate their professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Work in teams of 3–5 consultants on client engagements. Gather and analyze information, test hypotheses, and develop recommendations. Present findings to client leadership and support implementation. Receive structured training, mentorship, and career guidance. Build networks across McKinsey’s global community. Contribute to solving clients’ most challenging business problems.

Qualifications
Undergraduate or Master’s degree with excellent academic achievement. Less than 1 year of continuous work experience. Demonstrated leadership through extracurricular or work activities. Strong analytical and quantitative problem‑solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in teams. Fluency in English and a local Ethiopian language.
