MAG Addis Trading PLC (Milli’s Coffee & Healthy Eating) Vacancy Announcement:

MAG Addis Trading PLC, operating under Milli’s Coffee & Healthy Eating, invites qualified, experienced, and dedicated professionals to apply for the following position.

Position: Accounting & Finance Officer

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Accounting and Finance or a related field.

Experience: 4–5 years of relevant work experience in a similar position, preferably in cafés, restaurants, hotels, or the hospitality industry.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Record, monitor, and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and revenue reports.
• Monitor and control all revenue-generating activities of the café and restaurant.
• Ensure accurate recording of daily sales, cash collections, bank transactions, and other financial activities.
• Reconcile daily sales reports with cash, bank deposits, POS systems, and other payment channels.
• Monitor operational expenses and ensure proper cost control.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, cash flow statements, and financial forecasts.
• Monitor food and beverage costs, inventory consumption, and wastage in coordination with the operations team.
• Ensure proper documentation and authorization of all financial transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Monitor payroll, staff-related payments, and other financial obligations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and financial reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular financial reviews and identify opportunities to improve profitability and reduce unnecessary costs.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure transparency and accountability across all financial operations.
• Perform other finance- and accounting-related duties as assigned by the General Manager.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial management.
• Practical experience in café, restaurant, or hotel financial operations.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
• Good communication and leadership skills.

Duration: Full-time

Salary: Negotiable

Reports To: General Manager.

Place of Work: Addis Ababa, Bole Adey, in front of Adey Abeba Stadium, on the road to 22 Golgual.
