K.Mikedem General Import and Export and sister companies(KKGW, KROTAJ and PORCHLIGHT) are looking for qualified applicants for the following job position.

Our company has been engaged in a highly successful import and export business for the past twenty plus years in Ethiopia. The company has been exporting sesame, oilseeds and spices.

The company works with its core social responsibility model that is embedded in its business model. The company is the primary importer of home supply materials, specifically Media Electronics, from other countries..

Position: Sales Engineer – Solar Energy Solutions

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field.
  • Preferably 2–5 years of relevant experience in technical sales, solar energy, electrical equipment, power systems, or MEP projects.
  • Knowledge of solar PV systems, hybrid inverters, battery storage, and basic electrical system design.
  • Ability to prepare technical proposals, BOQs, quotations, and sales reports.
  • Strong business development, negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD or solar design software is an advantage.
  • Good command of English and Amharic.
  • Willingness to travel to customer locations and project sites as required.
