Job Summary
The Leaf Processing Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring leaf processing machinery, checking packaging materials, supporting preventive maintenance, and helping maintain efficient production. The role also involves troubleshooting equipment issues, controlling machine downtime, managing spare parts, and maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect leaf packaging materials before use to ensure they meet company quality standards. Operate and monitor the pressing machine to meet daily and weekly production schedules. Complete daily machine and equipment checklists and promptly report abnormalities. Monitor and help reduce machine downtime to improve production efficiency. Perform minor maintenance and basic troubleshooting on assigned machinery and equipment. Support preventive maintenance activities according to the maintenance plan. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and safety requirements. Manage and control spare parts required for machine operation and maintenance. Operate forklifts safely and in accordance with company procedures. Diagnose equipment problems and coordinate repairs when necessary. Maintain machinery and equipment to support product quality and operational efficiency. Keep the work area clean and organized in line with housekeeping standards. Report work-related accidents, hazards, and unsafe conditions to the immediate supervisor. Perform other operational duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience

Technical Diploma (10+3) or a higher qualification. At least two years of experience in machine operation or a related manufacturing environment.
