Role description
Iceland S.C invites qualified and experienced applicants to apply for vacant positions in its Accounting and Finance Department. The company is seeking skilled accounting professionals with strong financial management knowledge, proficiency in Peachtree accounting software, and experience in financial reporting.
Position 1: Junior Accountant
Educational Qualification
- BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field of study.
Work Experience
- 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in Peachtree accounting software.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Proficiency in Peachtree accounting software.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Good accounting and financial reporting skills.

Position 2: Senior Accountant
Educational Qualification
- BA or MBA Degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, or a related field of study.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Demonstrated experience at a senior accounting level.
- Experience in import and export or trading businesses is mandatory or strongly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Peachtree accounting software.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
- Proficiency in Peachtree accounting software.
- Knowledge of ERP systems.
- Strong financial accounting and reporting skills.
