About the Role
Hyatt Regency Addis Ababa is seeking a qualified Account Receivable Team Leader to join its finance team. This mid‑level role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and experience in managing high‑volume receivables.
Position: Account Receivable Team Leader
Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and support AR specialists; manage daily workflow and performance. Ensure accurate and timely invoicing across contracts and clients. Monitor aging reports, prioritize collections, and implement collection strategies. Resolve billing issues and payment discrepancies promptly. Prepare AR metrics, aged debt analysis, and cash flow trend reports. Develop AR policies, SOPs, and drive automation. Liaise with internal departments and external customers. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, SOX controls, and internal policies. Coach team members and support professional development.
Requirements
Education: Degree/Diploma in Accounting & Finance or related field. Experience: 3–5 years in AR management; 1–3 years managerial experience. Skills: Strong financial analysis and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication. Computer literacy and data entry skills. Organization and time management. Ability to adapt to changing conditions.
