Hagbes PLC Company invites competent and interested candidates for the following positions.
Hagbes PLC was founded in 1957 as an importing & trading company for small agricultural machinery and building materials, becoming the pioneer to introduce stone grinding mills in Ethiopia. By 1974 the company was the proud owner of feed mills, pasta factories, as well as a flour milling complex, making it the largest establishments of its kind in Eastern Africa at the time.

Position: Junior Fleet Engineer
Qualifications:
- BSC in Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 0 -1 year Experience
- Proficient in using GPS technology for fleet tracking and management.
- Experience with telematics systems for data collection and analysis.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and servicing processes.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and systems related to fleet management.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring the operational performance and condition of company-supplied machinery and vehicles.
- Track preventive maintenance schedules and service due dates to help ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Follow up on machinery performance and identify maintenance or repair requirements.
- Assist in monitoring spare parts requirements and coordinate with the relevant teams to ensure timely availability.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment service history, maintenance activities, and operational data.
- Communicate with customers regarding scheduled maintenance, service updates, equipment status, and follow-up actions.
- Coordinate with service technicians and internal departments to support timely maintenance and repair activities.
- Prepare basic reports on equipment performance, maintenance status, and service completion.
- Support the implementation and use of fleet monitoring systems, GPS, or telematics tools where applicable.
- Ensure maintenance activities and documentation comply with company procedures and safety standards.
- Report equipment issues, recurring faults, or customer concerns to supervisors for timely resolution.
- Assist in maintaining organized fleet and machinery documentation, including inspection records, service logs, and warranty information.
