Global Bank Ethiopia S.C. invites qualified and experienced banking professionals to apply for key managerial and senior auditor openings under Vacancy Announcement No. 18/26. The available positions are based at the Head Office in Addis Ababa and offer permanent employment terms under the bank’s competitive salary scale.
Available Managerial & Senior Vacancies
1. Manager, IT Audit Division
- Educational Background: MA, BA, MSc, or BSc degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Business Management, Management, or a closely related discipline.
- Required Experience: 6 to 8 years of relevant banking experience, with at least 3 years served in a senior IT audit or supervisory role.
- Key Responsibilities: Overseeing comprehensive IT audit frameworks, evaluating core banking software security, managing risk assessment procedures across digital infrastructures, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Headcount & Terms: 1 (One) position | Full-time / Permanent.
2. Section Head, Digital Banking
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Accounting, Business Management, Management, or related field.
- Required Experience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant banking experience, including at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory digital banking capacity.
- Key Responsibilities: Driving digital transformation strategies, supervising electronic payment channels, managing mobile and internet banking growth, and coordinating cross-functional fintech implementations.
- Headcount & Terms: 1 (One) position | Full-time / Permanent.
3. Senior Internal Auditor
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Accounting, Business Management, Management, or related field.
- Required Experience: Minimum of 4 years of relevant banking experience, with at least 2 years focused specifically on internal auditing functions.
- Key Responsibilities: Executing operational, financial, and compliance audits, preparing audit reports, inspecting internal financial controls, and supporting audit committee reviews.

4. Digital Banking Operation Officer
- Educational Background: BA in Accounting, Business Management, Management or related field.
- Required Experience: 2 years of relevant banking experience.
- Key Responsibilities: Managing daily digital banking operations, ensuring quality customer service and accessibility, and executing operational strategies that satisfy customer needs.
- Headcount & Terms: 1 (One) position | Full-time / Permanent.
