The Support to Transitional Justice (S2TJ) Project accompanies Ethiopia’s transitional justice process, strengthening government institutions and civil society to ensure reconciliation, peacebuilding, and victim‑centred approaches aligned with international human rights standards.
Position: Project Management Intern
Responsibilities
Support planning, coordination, and execution of trainings, workshops, and conferences. Assist with logistical preparation of events and maintain meeting facilities. Coordinate with external service providers, consultants, and vendors. Provide administrative and financial support, including documentation of project activities. Prepare reports, presentations, meeting minutes, and communication materials. Draft social media content and maintain project photo databases. Support Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) activities through data collection and analysis. Attend company functions and networking events. Perform other duties as assigned to support project objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Management, Project Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related fields. Excellent written and spoken English and Amharic. Strong organisational and coordination skills with ability to multitask. Demonstrated interest in project management, event coordination, communications, and development projects. Analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail. Creative mindset for communication materials and stakeholder engagement. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in multicultural teams. Integrity, professionalism, and commitment to organizational values. Previous internship, volunteer, or work experience in project management or with international organisations is an advantage.
