On behalf of our client, Raval Group, we are looking for a responsible and well-organized General Service Officer to oversee the day-to-day operations of the company’s guest houses in Addis Ababa, which accommodate expatriate employees of the Group.Position: General Service Officer - Guest House & Facility ManagementLocation: Addis AbabaExperience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experienceApplication Deadline: October 20, 2026Job SummaryThe General Service Officer will be responsible for the overall supervision and administration of the company’s guest houses, ensuring proper housekeeping, safety and security, maintenance, utility management, procurement, and effective coordination of company and outsourced service employees.Key Responsibilities• Supervise the daily operations and general administration of the company’s guest houses.• Oversee housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, and other routine guest house services.• Supervise and coordinate guest house employees and outsourced service providers, ensuring quality service delivery.• Monitor the cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and security of all guest house facilities.• Follow up on routine maintenance, repairs, and timely resolution of facility-related issues.• Monitor utility consumption and ensure timely payment of electricity, water, internet, and other service bills.• Manage guest house supplies, consumables, and procurement requirements, ensuring adequate stock availability.• Coordinate purchasing, supplier follow-up, and inventory control for guest house operations.• Ensure rooms, furniture, equipment, and other facilities are properly maintained and ready for use.• Monitor service standards and address complaints or operational issues promptly.• Maintain records of expenses, utility payments, maintenance activities, supplies, and other administrative matters.• Prepare periodic reports on guest house operations, costs, maintenance needs, and service performance.• Perform other related general service and facility management duties as required.How to ApplyInterested and qualified candidates are invited to submit their updated CV to:info@ethiocv.comPlease use “General Service Officer – Raval Group” as the subject line of your email.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
