Position 1: HVAC Technician – Mechanical Background  

Experience Required: 5+ years  
Employment Type: Full-time after the prohibition period  
Salary: Negotiation  

Job Summary  
We are looking for an experienced and skilled HVAC technician with a strong background in mechanical engineering.

Key Responsibilities  
- Install, maintain, inspect, and repair HVAC systems and equipment.

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on air-conditioning and ventilation systems.

- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration-related issues in HVAC systems.

- Service and maintain split AC units, package units, AHUs, FCUs, chillers, pumps, fans, and ventilation systems.

- Diagnose system faults and provide appropriate repair solutions.

- Perform refrigerant charging, recovery, leak detection, and pressure testing.

- Read and interpret mechanical/HVAC drawings, equipment manuals, and technical specifications.

- Conduct routine inspections to ensure efficient operation of HVAC equipment.

- Carry out ductwork, piping, insulation, and mechanical installation works.

- Monitor equipment performance and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.

- Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and inspection checklists.

- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, contractors, and other technicians on site.

Qualification Requirements  
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC technician.

- Strong background in mechanical engineering.

- Experience in HVAC system installation, maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair.

- Experience working with split AC units, package units, AHUs, FCUs, chillers, pumps, fans, and ventilation systems.

- Ability to read and interpret mechanical/HVAC drawings, equipment manuals, and technical specifications.

Position 2: Senior Accountant  

Quantity: 1  
Experience Required: 8+ years  
Salary: Negotiation  

Duties & Responsibilities  
- Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure the accurate recording of all financial transactions.

- Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local requirements.

- Lead and maintain the organization’s Peachtree (Sage 50) accounting system.

- Customize charts of accounts, modules, and reporting structures to meet construction and engineering needs.

- Handle tax, revenue, and customs compliance.

- Prepare and file tax returns, including income tax, VAT, and withholding taxes, in compliance with Ethiopian Revenue & Customs Authority (ERCA) regulations.

- Liaise with ERCA and Customs on audits, clarifications, and compliance matters.

- Interpret and apply changes in tax laws or customs regulations to business operations.

- Coordinate with both internal and external auditors.

- Provide supporting schedules, documentation, and explanations during audits.

- Implement audit recommendations to improve financial processes.

- Prepare financial forecasts.

- Follow up and organize payments and collections.

- Prepare a financial management framework.

- Prepare financial status reports for management.

Qualification Requirements  
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Accounting & Finance, Business Administration, or a related field with a strong focus on accounting.

- Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience.

- A master's degree (MBA or MSc in accounting/finance) is an advantage but not mandatory.

- Ability to supervise finance staff, assign tasks, review performance, and provide coaching for skill development.

- Ability to maintain high standards of accuracy, accountability, and confidentiality.

- Understanding of BOQs, variation orders, retention money, contract accounting, and revenue recognition.

- Understanding of subcontractor payments and certifications.

- Experience supporting project managers and engineers financially.

- Knowledge and experience in tax administration.

- Proficiency in accounting principles (GAAP) and IFRS.

- Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws, regulations, and tax documentation.

- Understanding of the accounting complexities of LC settlements, customs duties, bonded warehouse duty deferrals, and foreign exchange transactions.

Position 3: Mechanical & Office Engineer

Job Summary  
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced mechanical office engineer with over 8 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, project coordination, technical documentation, and office administration.

The best candidate will be responsible for assisting with mechanical engineering tasks while efficiently managing office operations, project records, procurement, reporting, and communication between project teams, consultants, contractors, and management.

Key Responsibilities  
•    Plan, organize, and oversee mechanical engineering tasks for construction and engineering projects.

• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, technical documents, and equipment schedules.

•    Coordinate HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems as needed.

•    Prepare technical reports, material submissions, method statements, inspection requests, and other project documents.

•    Track project progress, schedules, materials, workforce, and on-site activities.

• Work with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments.

•    Help with material selection, procurement, technical assessments, and supplier coordination.

• Keep records of drawings, contracts, letters, reports, and technical documents in an organized manner.

•    Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

•    Support management with administrative, planning, and coordination tasks.

• Attend project meetings and create meeting summaries and follow up on action items.

•    Help with cost control, quantity checks, material tracking, and project planning.

•    Manage office correspondence, document control, filing, and reporting systems.

•    Identify technical and operational challenges and assist in finding solutions.

• Perform other engineering and office coordination tasks as directed by management.

Required Qualifications & Skills  
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.

•    8+ years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering and project/office coordination.

•    Good understanding of mechanical building services and construction processes.

•    Experience in technical documentation and project administration.

•    Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software.

•    Excellent communication, coordination, reporting, and organizational skills.

•    Ability to work independently and manage stress effectively.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Position 4: Finance Manager

Duties and Responsibilities  
•    Plan, organize, lead, coordinate, and manage the company’s general accounting, costing, and budgeting activities.

•    Set up, run, monitor, and assess financial procedures related to accounts receivable and accounts payable.

•    Prepare financial reports and cost analysis.

  • Advise management on financial operations, budget utilization, and cost-control measures.
  • Report to the General Manager on all matters related to budgeting, accounting, costing, and financial performance.
  • Ensure the company’s cash flow is maintained to meet all financial obligations and commitments.
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of financial statements and management information reports.
  • Supervise and monitor the preparation of the company’s annual budget and track performance against the budget, highlighting variances.
  • Supervise and lead the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
  • Approve cheques, disbursements, and other financial documents within delegated authority limits.
  • Arrange and coordinate regular external audits of the company’s financial operations.
  • Ensure the proper drafting, negotiation, and management of contractual agreements with clients and vendors.

  • Provide necessary financial information and support to the Human Capital Department when required.

Qualification Requirements

  • MA or BA degree from a recognized university in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
