Flipper International School is seeking fresh and qualified individuals for various job positions.
Flipper International School was established in 1998 by Mrs.
Serkaddis Seifu and Mrs. Menna Selamu. They noticed the absence of a comprehensive nursery in the city and set up the school to offer a warm and engaging environment for preschoolers to start their educational journey.
Over the years, the school has built a strong reputation and is now one of the most popular preschools and primary schools in Addis Ababa.
Position 1: Account Receivable Officer
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field (required)
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is a plus.
- 2–3 years of experience in accounts receivable, credit control, or general accounting
- Experience with ERP or accounting software like SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or Tally
- Prior experience in a similar industry is preferred (though not mandatory).
- Good knowledge of basic accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping
- Proficient in MS Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and basic formulas)
- Familiarity with invoicing, reconciliation, and preparing aging reports
- Understanding of credit control and collection procedures
Location: Addis Ababa
Position 2: Human Resource Officer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in an HR generalist or officer role
- Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices
- Proficient in HR software and MS Office
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
- Computer skills are an advantage.
Location: Addis Ababa
Position 3: Finance Manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
MBA or CPA is preferred.
- Proven experience in financial management, with a minimum of 8 years in a managerial role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to make data-driven decisions
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards
- Experience in strategic financial planning and forecasting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Location: Addis Ababa
Position 4: English Teachers
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, English Education, Education, Literature, or a related field
- Recognized teaching qualification is preferred.
- Previous experience teaching the Cambridge curriculum is highly desirable.
- Experience preparing students for Cambridge examinations such as IGCSE, AS, or A Level is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of the English language, literature, grammar, and academic writing
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Good classroom management and student engagement skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction for students with varying abilities
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital learning resources
