Role description

Eureka Industrial Supplies PLC, an Ethiopian import and export company based in Addis Ababa, specializes in supplying chemicals to the food and beverage industries.

Position 1: Junior Accountant

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field from a recognized university.

Experience: Zero to two years of work experience in the field.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
  • Experience using accounting software such as Peachtree, including recording and posting transactions.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with Ethiopian tax laws and financial regulations is an advantage.

  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and financial regulations.
