Role description

Ethioder is a wholly owned and operated Ethiopian company who provide turnkey and full logistics management services for a wide range of markets, including oil and gas, mining, construction, geo thermal and power industries. Position 1: Logistics Technical / Fleet Assistant

Educational Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Certificate or diploma in: Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Fleet Management and Automotive or Mechanical Studies (advantage)
  •  3-5 years’ experience in logistics, transport, or fleet support
  •  Experience assisting with vehicle inspections or maintenance coordination
  •  Exposure to warehouse or distribution operations (advantage)

Location: Addis Ababa

Position 2: IT Officer

Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in IT support, network administration, or system maintenance.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with Windows, Linux, or macOS operating systems.
  • Core networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs).
  • Hands-on experience with Odoo administration
  • Familiarity with Cloud management (Microsoft 365 / Entra ID, Google Workspace, AWS).

Location: Addis Ababa

Position 3: Cashier

Education: TVET / Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience as a Cashier, Finance Assistant, or Junior Accountant.

Skills:

  • Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel, MS Word, basic accounting software/POS).
  • High level of honesty, precision, and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Odoo ERP / Odoo Accounting is a strong plus. 
  • Good interpersonal and customer communication skills.

Location: Based in Addis Ababa.

Position 4: Operation & Logistics Officer

Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Management, or a related field.

Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in supply chain, factory operations, warehouse management, or distribution logistics (experience in construction materials or ceramics is a plus).

Language Skills: Fluency in Amharic (written and spoken) is required. Proficiency in English is highly advantageous.

Location: Candidates residing in or around Tulefa, Sheno, or North Shewa, or willing to relocate locally, are strongly preferred.

Position 5: Warehouse Head

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: [3–5+] years of experience in warehouse management or logistics operations, with at least [2+] years in a supervisory role.

Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP software (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Oracle).
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets for inventory reporting and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of barcode scanning operations, RFID tracking, and standard inventory methodologies (FIFO/LIFO).
